Summer collection 2023 | Jinseï - Life

Great source of inspiration for my new abstract series Jinseï is simplicity, and beauty of Japanese calligraphy.

To create an illusion of Japanese calligraphy art, I was creating acrylic paint wash on white cotton canvas combined with vivid black brush strokes mimicking sumi ink.

In each painting from this series the white lines represent our chosen ways in life, while black colour represents unexpected situations life bring as in.

Although we can’t control the occurrence of unexpected events, we can control how we respond…

        "Are we going to accept new paths or pursue our dreams?"
